Cyprus is famous for its wine production and over 100 wineries, some small and some bigger, whilst you can visit all of them. Below I’m listing the biggest Cyprus wineries to visit and enjoy a great tasting experience.
1. Tsangarides Winery
Tsangkarides winery, located in Lemona Village, is one of the biggest wineries in Cyprus with the next generation of Cypriot wines. Their philosophy is to blend old school traditions with new school style. Their aim is to produce wines of great character, and distinction.

2. Zambartas Winery
Zambartas Winery is Located in Agios Ambrosios Village in Limassol. The winery welcomes you to visit the winery and experience a real taste of Cyprus. They offer different tour options, depending on your time, group size and budget. All experiences are available daily, by prior appointment. Same-day reservations and walk-ins are welcome, but cannot be guaranteed availability of a tour & tasting.
Zambartas Wineries own 7 hectares of vineyards and rent another 6 hectares, which are cultivated organically. The vineyards are of different ages and are concentrated mostly in the areas of Mandria Village and Agios Nikoloas. They also have some vineyards at lower altitudes, 550-700meters, in Agios Amvrosios and Pachna.

3. Vouni Panayia Winery
Vouni Panayia winery has been renovated and is equipped with the latest technology, to ensure high-quality standards. Apart from producing wine, the winery offers to visitors the opportunity to discover the world of Cyprus’ wine and viticulture. During your visit you will have the opportunity to watch an educational short film showing the entire process from planting the vines to bottling. You can visit the traditional museum and the lovely tasting room to expand your knowledge and senses. And if you are hungry, make sure to visit the winery’s restaurant and enjoy the delicious seasonal, traditional cuisine. The winery is open to all wine lovers all year round.

4. Ayia Mavri Winery
Ayia Mavri Winery is located in Koilani village, in the heart of the “Krasochoria” the traditional wine villages at the foothills of the Troodos range. Its 900 metres altitude, its climate, and soil are ideal for the production of quality wines. The surroundings of the winery are beautiful. The people at the winery will make you feel very welcome and you will have an interesting and informative visit.

5. Vasilikon Winery
Vasilikon winery is located in Kathikas Village in Paphos and it’s one of the first local wineries in Cyprus. The winery is committed to producing estate-grown wines of the highest caliber and distinction, each expressing the unique terroir of the property. The winery invites visitors to visit their vineyards and en enjoy a unique geography, unlike anywhere else on the island. The winery owns 16 hectares of vineyards and produces 350,000 bottles annually, each expressing the unique terroir of the property.
During your visit to the Vasilikon winery, you will walk through the history of winemaking, enjoy their wines accompanied by various cheese platters and enjoy the amazing view of the Akamas area.

6. Fikardos Winery
Fikardos Winery is an award-winning winery located in the heart of Paphos, in Mesogi area. You can visit the winery and enjoy a wine tour. The winery tour consists of a guide through the winery; explaining the different processes occurring inside the barrel room, the production area, and the bottling and labeling sectors. During the tour, you will learn about the winery’s history, the vineyards, and the way wine is produced.
During the tasting, you will be guided you through the tasting by describing each wine’s unique characteristics. Most of the wines are available for tasting, including some of our premium and limited edition wines.

7. Vlasides Winery
Vlassides Winery is a modern winery, which was completed in 2012 and is located in Kilani Village. The building is characterized by an unconventional design The innovative and original design of Vlassides Winery was chosen to represent Cyprus at the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture – Mies van der Rohe Award 2015. The Vlassides vineyard consists of 21 hectares, with many varieties.
The Winery is open for tours and tastings every day, except Sundays, from 11:00 – 16:00. At the winery you can find all Vlassides wines, as well as rare selections from old harvests and the special experimental wines of Sophocles Vlassides with the title “Dokimes”.
The tour lasts from 30 to 40 minutes, at €12 per person. The tour is available by booking only at 11:00.

8. Dafermou Winery
Above the Lefkara Valley, Ktima Dafermou blends uniquely with the natural surroundings of the vineyards and the rolling hills. The winery is located, outside Lefkara Village (From Skarinou on the way to Lefkara). All of the wine tastings are performed by oenologists so during your winery tour you will learn directly from the experts. You will also have the chance to see the winery and get an explanation of how each machine is used during wine production. 9. Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades Winery
Oenou Yi – Ktima Vassiliades is probably the newest winery in Cyprus if I am not mistaken, and it was founded in 2017. The winery is ready to offer a unique experience to every wine lover who deserves to taste the flavors of Omodos’ countryside. During the wine tours, you will learn how wine is made, from harvesting grapes to bottling. There are two packages for guided tours and tastings in the specially designed premises of the winery. If you are planning to visit the winery make sure to enjoy lunch at Playia Restaurant but book in advance.

10. Gerolemo Winery
Gerolemo winery is one of the popular Cyprus Wineries and is located near the village of Omodos at an altitude of 900 meters, in the heart of the wine production area. The winery tour guides visitors through a modern winery and introduces them to the principles of organic cultivation of the vine and the “secrets” of wine. They are also offered wine-tasting sessions and snacks while enjoying spectacular views of the valley and the vineyards.
