Charlie & The Chocolate Factory: London Theater

Planning a visit to London soon? Is a theater trip on your mind or not? London is very famous for its spectacular West End musical shows. I watched Charlie & The Chocolate Factory in West End and it was amazing. Nothing compares to watching the movie on TV and experiencing it live in a theater. I am totally recommending you to watch this show, and believe me, although tickets tend to be expensive (specially during Christmas Period) its worth it. The Story The mysterious confectioner Willy Wonka comes to life in this Olivier Award-winning West End musical directed by Academy Award® winner Sam Mendes. Now in its fourth and final GOLDEN year at London’s Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. When Charlie wins a golden ticket to the weird and wonderful Wonka Chocolate Factory, it's the chance of a lifetime to feast on the sweets he's always dreamed of. But beyond the gates astonishment awaits, as down the sugary corridors and amongst the incredible edible delights, the five lucky winners discover not everything is as sweet as it seems. Featuring ingenious stagecraft, the wonder of the original story that has captivated the world for almost 50 years is brought to life with great music , a book by award-winning playwright and adaptor David Greig, set and costume designs by Mark Thompson (Mamma Mia!; One Man, Two Guvnors) and choreography by Peter Darling (Billy Elliot The Musical; Matilda The Musical). A chocolate garden, an army of squirrels and the curiously peculiar Oompa-Loompas must be believed to be seen in this gigantic musical that is choc-full of fantastical treats to dazzle your senses. All waiting for you to experience, live on stage! The Venue Theatre Royal Drury Lane is located near Covent Garden. I would recommend you to pay a bit more to get a seat in the middle or front and avoid getting a ticket backwards since you won't enjoy it. Back seats are located far from the main stage and you might need binoculars. You can access the Theater via Charing Cross, Embankment, Covent Garden or Holborn tubes. [...]
